Margaret Spicer
My husband and I became members of the Willow Creek Association in 1994 when we were pastoring a church here in Auckland. Over the years we have been impacted by Willow Creek through the teaching on leadership, the challenging and equipping to rethink what it means to be an Acts 2 church and raising the bar on excellence in the local church.
I am committed to seeing leaders equipped to win, whether it be as a pastor, children’s ministry leader or a leader in business. For me there is nothing like the local church when it is operating well. When we each find our place to serve, there is a personal win and a win for the kingdom. To this end, I count it a privilege to lead the WCA here in NZ to resource the local church, no matter the size or denomination. My desire is that each church discovers their own unique thumbprint, the calling that God has for them in their community.
My favourite quote
